What the fuck? These are two new Broadway shows, based on the music of Elvis and Brain Wilson. Who the hell? Why the hell? Are there no gods of rock and roll that can stop this madness and smite the creators of such shows?

I know Elvis' tunes were recently sold by his daughter to some company. What about the Wilson songs? Who's making the money off of his music?

Isn't there a John Lennon show in the works?

What's next? Queen? The Kinks? The Ramones? Creed?

Creed, The Musical.

Yeah, that sounds about right.

The Madness musical, Our House, kicks serious ass. I can't vouch for any of the other ones, but don't hate until you've seen them (unless you hated the music to start with... that's OK, I guess).

What the fuck do I know?

Nothing. I guess I should have assumed that one had been made.

Smokey Joe's Cafe broke all sorts of box office records, didn't it? Why is this so surprising?

Bring back Ellie Greenwich's "Leader of the Pack."
