With kids aged 4 and 2, I have to be careful with my language. Instead of saying "that's the shit" I've taken to saying, "That's the shimmy!"

So far, two people say it. Not exactly taking the world by storm, but it's a start.

"Logjammit" and "Cheese and rice" have been used in lieu of expletives, as well.

I am the author of none of these, but I'd like to see more of 'em anyway.

I'm a big advocate of the saying "Stop being such a Todd." Few people outside the board though seem to get it.

Oh, hell!
I use that all the time!

Sorry. Can't give credit on the second one.

I've taken it to mean a different thing from the older usage.

You mean as in "clap, clap"

I mean, as in "the retardation"

Oh. Okay. I like that as well. STOLEN!

Yeah, our original usage is still the unabashed classic in my mind, Busty.

I beleive it received the much coveted "mark on the wall" at Pluma.

Jesus. "You know who" taking a piss. Wow. So. Fucking. Funny.

I've got a couple:

"In what parallel crack universe?" - if you are in a state of disbelief about something unbelieveable.

"I know this road like the back.....errr....the PALM of my hand" - if someone accuses you of being lost.

I definitely can't claim to be the originator (ATL Peeps: It was the Hawaii boys, no?) but "Sensuous" has stuck around for quite awhile.

Example: You and some buddies are sitting around watching a game drinking some beers. Somebody gets up to go to the john and you say "Sensuous" meaning "Since you was up, hows about gettin me a beer?"

three words my girlfriend is getting really tired of hearing

1. pinkyblast = successful hand job (with little effort) given to a female, awesome. example:"the ruffee party was a total pinkyblast"

2. cocksnot = semen. example:"i'd like to buy her a glass of my cocksnot"

3. retard = waiter. example:"is that retard too busy licking windows to bring me the god damn check?"

Yeah it was them. One of my favorite ones ever. Still use it from time to time. But of course, never with the gf.

I tend to make verbs out of restaurant names... a favorite place of mine is a tacqueria called Cha Cha Cha. If I'm craving it, I say "let's cha" or "do you wanna cha tonight?"

nice. season 4 came out yesterday. I really need to pick it up.

i can't thin of any, but i'm sure somebody i talk to a lot would point out 5 or 6. "that's bad idea jeans" is a one. and "what the fuck you gonna do now!!??? you done dropped the pistol when you bust through the window!!" stolen from Eddie Murphy.

this is so funny! I had a friend we used to go rock climbing with, and he'd always say that phrase when one of us was stuck in a hard part of the route, and were trying to figure out how to maneuver. touche, cotton.

i can't even remember what album that one's from, but it's one of my favorite lines ever. Comedian? There was a period from when I was about 12-13 that I spent mimicking Eddie standup jokes (barring RAW). This was after my Holy Grail year and before the 5 years of Simpsons quotes. good times.

"Boner" as in, "I've got a boner for Massive Attack so I want to see them at Coachella"

I got a girl I was dating to work it into her repertoire. I also used it on a hockey board over the weekend, "Keenan has a boner for Bertuzzi he's traded for him twice now." And someone noticed it & pointed it out so now I think we might see So Cal hockey fans working it in.

Don't fret about it - judging from this thread you're in good company.

I've kinda been resting on my laurels ever since I popularized "drop it like it's hot" a little while ago.
