U2's "Gloria" has been in my head since I was woken up at 4 o clock this morning by lightning striking my neighbor's house. It refuses to leave. Can someone send me this song (preferably the October or Under a Blood Red Sky versions? I'd really, really appreciate it.

fuck, how do I not own the latter album anymore?

has there never been a cent sign on keyboards? Did it really take me 18 years to look for one?

This song has a bass solo. That's pretty odd.

Under a Blood Red Sky draws equally from the band's first three albums, and these live versions, while less textured, are considerably tougher than their studio counterparts and illustrate quite effectively why U2 were considered one of the best, most exhilarating live bands of the '80s.

also, Bono shouts "THIS IS RED ROCKS, THIS IS THE EDGE" repetitively. Thanks for hooking this up, Timis. I forgotten how well I knew the live album...
