yeah, but if you're going to be a musician, that's the perfect way to leave.

I think we have found an honorary member of the ATL Team.

Senator and Yail have Krylon covered;

Pagoda seems like he would be the one down for mushrooms;

Derris is the guy for cocaine;

Disco Stu strikes me as down for poppers.

Now, though, we'll have opiates covered too.

super sweet.

it's funny you mention them now, because i just recently got (and am currently playing the shit out of) mark sandman's sandbox, which collects a lot of his songs from projects outside of morphine. most of them are absolutely awesome too. it has re-kindled my love for morphine.

it also reminded me to finally check out treat her right, mark's pre-morhpine band, as well as twinemen, dana colley and billy conway's post-morphine band. definitely worth checking out if you dig morphine. they actually have a new album, sideshow that just came out last week.

Except for in Wild Things.

And, well, if you develop a virtually unheard-of sound, I think you're entitled to having songs that all sound the same, which, by the way, I don't agree is the case.

I saw this somewhere...

Quote:
Just so you all know, here in Cambridge, Mark's hometown, the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Brookline Street has been named Mark Sandman Square. It is a fitting place ofr such a memorial, being the location of Cambridge's music club scene, and of a good portion of Sandman's life.

i didn't say all THEIR songs sound the same, i said . .. nevermind. this joke is going nowhere. i don't really know their albums, so i should refrain from discussing.

<===is fortunate enough to have seen Treat Her Right live. Sandman could never have done wrong in my book.

"Sweet" is woefully inadequate.

Anyone seen The Twinemen? I wasn't able to go last time they came around for some reason, but I was curious.

I love them in small doses.
Hard for me to listen to an entire album in one sitting, though, due to the "sameness" of their sound, from song-to-song.

Still, a helluve band.
