me:

friday night.... not sure yet.

saturday....
*shop for wedding present.
*go to wedding
*drive to my friend kimmy's (an hour away) to see my her and my friend kerri who is in town from ny.
*find time afterhours to see other friends who are in town for a show i should go to but can't because of my other plans.....

sunday....
*continue spending time with kerri. possibly other friends too.

monday....
*work. no 4 day weekend for me!

tuesday.... (the fourth)
*bbq at my house
*monger
*watch 4 different cities' fireworks from the comfort of my backyard.

Going away to Senor Six's family's country place.
Hopefully do some hiking and swimming.
Maybe do some art too.

I'm pissed because I'm usually off Monday and Wednesday (and Sunday), but thanks to it being a big liquor holiday I have to work on two of my three days off. I am off on the 4th though.

No long weekend here, but it is the start of my winter holidays.

So, today, ended up working for a bit. Then pottered about cleaning up the mess from exams

Tomorrow - pick up some new releases (it seems Saturday has become new release day here) - TVOTR, Sleepy Jackson, Something For Kate. Maybe go to the markets. Maybe buy some new jeans. Maybe go see Bit By Bats or Clare Bowditch. Maybe just to nothing.

Sunday - hockey, then have to do a long drive up the coast late at night for:

Monday --> Friday - UNI GAMES. If ever I can be classified as mongering, this is the week it happens - basically a week-long party with a bit of sport during the day to pass the time. Guaranteed to come home with a monster case of the flu, many, many unidentified drinking injuries, and having consumed your weight in both alcohol and fast food.

Our backyard is across two open fields from Pizza Hut Park, where the MLS' FC Dallas play. They have a home game on the 4th of July, followed by my suburb's annual 4th of July fireworks extravaganza, so we'll have a "front row" seat from my back porch. Should be cool. We might even hear some stray notes waft over from the Kool & The Gang concert.

Yesterday (Friday)- spent all day in the bar with a group of friends watching World Cup games. Got drunk. Traded shirts. Shots. Beers. Etc. Great Fun!

Today- worked all day. Just got home. No plans for tonight. I need to fix my toilet. Woo!

Sunday- off all day. Who knows? Probably breakfast with my boy after he gets off work at 8am. Then nothing. Beers tomorrow night with a friend coming in from out of town.

Monday- work. Then trivia night. Beers. PBR tallboys, to be exact.

Tuesday- work. No plans for festivities. Maybe I'll grill out for myself.

I don't get long weekends or holidays (outside of Thanksgiving and Christmas Day) off. Yay Service Industry!!
