Has anyone else heard these guys? From Lawrence, KS and sound at least to me a lot like Wolf Parade. What can you people tell me about them, other than what's on AMG (thanks, Phil). I've heard 3 songs now and I'm convinced I'm really going to like the album I just ordered.

I love it that every time I complain about the lack of new music I stumble across some song that completely changes my mind.

Don't know them but my son would point out it's supposed to be "Connor."

Yeah, I definitely hear a similarity to Wolf Parade here. I am really liking what I'm hearing so far, let us know how the whole thing is, thanks for the tip.

I saw them open for Mooney Suzuki back in '02...nothing much "stuck" with me, aside from the fact that they were REALLY annoying onstage.

But keep in mind that was 4 years ago & change...maybe they've gotten better, I dunno.

I forgot about Mooney Suzuki. They completely fell off my map. Are they still around?

I had never heard of them, but just saw them mentioned in the new issue of Magnet today.

That's all I've got.

They switched labels after the semi-disaster that was "Alive & Amplified". They've been recording a new album that's supposed to be out this year.

i don't hear anything close to wolf parade, but hey, i'm a skullfucked retard. how did this album turn out, worm?

edit- because i'm listening to the song "up to you" now and it sounds like that muscle rock that foo fighters keep churning out, and it's not too shabby.
