I REALLLLLY don't want to go to work today.

They put me in a different store for a few days, so I get to play with wooden toys today.

I've been trying to teach myself chess, but it's hard when the teacher doesn't really know how to play... um, or something.

whenever holidays are on a tuesday or thursday, we get the monday and friday off.

My boss actually told me to work from home today, and I still came in. there must be something wrong with me.

Probably leave around 2, hit academy records, then go or a few drinks. Ooh, now I want a bloody mary.

I will leave work as soon as I get the 4:30 and 5:30 news done. Which today should be about 1:30, I hope. It'll be pretend live.

We're open for business though if its slow, I might close early...

i'm working today. our building gets let out at 2 or 3 when they start setting up the fireworks across the street, though.

I wish I had more vacation days to use. My entire 2nd floor is in today, but the main 9th floor is a ghost town.

I have like a zillion things to do around the house before my mother in law gets here for a month on Wednesday. AAAArrrrrrghhhh.

Yeah, I'm working. Going to be a pretty hectic day from the look of it, but they made us an awesome breakfast this morning. Plus I really like what I'm doing right now.

I'm here today - haven't been with the company(Speakeasy) long enough(5/10 start date) to know if they let people go early - I'm not holding my breath thoguh, while it is a great company to work for I work in the finance/accounting dept and it is already a short month for us and the holiday tommorow is throwing off our close schedule a bit.....Oh well...will be nice to sleep in tommorow...

Gotta go do at least a few hours' worth of work, then head across the street to the city's 4th festival, which lasts 2 days.
So it ain't so bad.

no work today. i'm doing laundry, listening to a bad lifetime movie (a white trash couple picks up a white trash girl at a truck stop and soon after makes her into a hooker. sweeeeeeeeet.) and contemplating my next move. will it be a bike ride? will it be lunch? sewing for a friend? maybe a shower. yeah, that's a spectacular start.
