There are two for me, which I mentioned ages ago on cmj:

1. The Farewell to Cher Concert.

2. Lionel Ritchie and Rob Zombie on Leno I think it was.

THose two experiences make me think that the end of all music is "extremely fucking nigh".

well just last night Madonna butchered Lennon's Imagine on NBC in the name of Tsunami relief.

Although I did spot my high school friend Ruth Oda singing bgv's for Norah Jones which was lovely.

Other bad ideas, Celine Dion singing some AC/DC tune, Chuck D rapping on a John Mellencamp tune, and although it remains to be seen... I'm betting that Paul Rodgers shouldn't be trying to replace Freddie Mercury.
