Just figured I'd share my lunchhour with all of you today, (not that you should really care ).

I went for a little walk to try to get myself out of this crabby (read: pms induced) mood.

I went to the neary-by artstore and picked up a set of Speedball acrylic coloured inks--- a sure fire cheer-up for me. (If any of you have any tips on using these I'd be much obliged) :wink:

But my cheer-up efforts were quickly thwarted by the presence of one of those outdoor "free" rockbands outside of the foodcourt. You know the kind that are supposed to make all of us "office drones" feel "festive"?

NO. I DO NOT WANT TO "HAVE FUN".

Setlist:

"Rock This Town"
"Hurt So Good" - John Melon Cougarcamp
and.... my favorite
"Brown-Eyed Girl"

They were playing the last one as I came out of the foodcourt.
I actually avoided walking in front of them so ask to stave-off any posible attempts at "audience participation": e.g. "Hey you! You're a girl... with brown eyes!! Come over here".

Lost my appetite.

I'm gonna try to add some colour washes to my pen drawings to spruce 'em up a bit.

I know this thread is kind of useless... I just thought some people---read: proponents of "Brown-eyed girl" from the weddnig thread---might find poetic justice in me being harrassed by it.

I would also like it if some of you "artsy types" might weight in on good ink wash techniques. (I'm looking at you Cemetary and ayah.)

After spending 9 quiet and sedate nights at the cottage, my last night there was scored by rich WASPs blasting BEG, BEP and BSp into the night at their Lobster Roast. I hate that shit.

Which cottage? Your family's? Is it in Muskoka?

My 3 days in Muskoka went by all too quickly. I honestly think I was traumatized by having to come home & go back to work.
