The birthday weekend started off a bit shaky, but, all in all, things have been going fairly well. Saw Arcade Fire last night who rocked the shit outta the house. Tonight, will be more of the same -- more Arcade Fire with Dri and other friends. Plus, am gonna try to see Gomez do an acoustic set at a local coffee shop straight after.

My birthday only got better!! Dri, friends and I had an amazing night in the company of Arcade Fire! And we're uncertain, but my friends seem to think that Win heard my other friends wish me a happy birthday. So, when the band got onstage during the encore, he blurted out "Happy Birthday". My friends and I all looked at each other in shock..."he didn't mean me, did he?!" Who cares, let's just say it WAS for me!!

I probably should've stayed at home and gotten rest, but I don't care. I had a great weekend and love all my friends who helped me celebrate it.

One can never see Gomez too many times, m'dear! Sadly, we got out too late from Arcade Fire's show to catch Gomez (they were almost at the same time). An acoustic set in a wee cafe would've been great...alas, it wasn't my turn to see them this time.

Nope, it was too late to see Gomez. But, that's ok, I was beaming from the glow emitted by last night's AF show. (Hey, AF = me too! Yes, I AM a dork!)

Glad you were able to spend it with me, Dri. Ya know what I was thinking last night? That's the second birthday in a row you've spent it with me. :D
