Thanks for the sentiments everybody. And for the duck beak, Charlie. You know how I love that.

Finch, that's really really kind, but don't worry about it, unless you can shake it out of a local emo kid. That would be sweet.

Little punk. You'd think you'd be somewhat safe in Park Slope since a lot of the makeup is families. Good idea to flyer the neighborhood. Other people could have been burglarized too, but they would never tell their neighbor unless Park Slope is unlike the rest of NYC.
I hope you're looking into renter's insurance now (this reminds me too finally get some for my place...).

That'll help tonight!

Man, sorry to hear about this, that's just terrible. That cop touching everything just pisses me off. Seriously, how dumb is that guy?

If there's anything I can do, seriously let me know.

I guess it pays not to be portable.

Hey, at least you'll get a new laptop.

Actually, I'll probably get the same one again, used, on eBay.

And thanks, Andy. I'll probably be okay, but I appreciate it.

This leads me to believe that the punks were not old enough to drink.

oh, wiffle ball is on.

i'd also like to point out, since i've just realized it myself, that i for some reason blanked out the "u" in "bull" instead of the "i" in "shit." ha.

we should duct tape the ends of the wiffle bats and put together a "search and destroy" party for the rapscallions that did this.

Goddamn...that totally sucks, Aaron. I am so very sorry to hear about this horrible news. I thought I was having a bad day, man, but your story definitely beats mine.

Hang in there! Shall we start a HELP HAQ Fund?

I really hope you get your shit back, Aaron. That sucks. My Allstate guy just the other day was offering me $20,000 coverage for $13 a month, and I turned it down. I think I'll be making a phone call in the near future.

This is one of my worst fears. I feel so bad for you. Well, cope the best you can, and do the flyer idea, and hopefully something will come of it.

I thought you *'d out "u" to be funny in an ironical way.

I know how this feels, although my story has a happ;y ending. Long story short, I woke up one morning when I was in CA and my automobile was nowhere to be found. It just felt surreal. So, I called my landlord (who answered his phone during church while in the process of taking communion) and then I called the cops only to find out that my truck had been illegally towed away.

Either way, this sucks majorly. I can't even imagine what it feels like to have that stuff stolen. Even though theft is a pretty cowardly action, I don't understand how someone has the balls to actually go into someone else's home. You'd think they would have had to be scoping out your place. And don't trust that bag. It could be a smart burglar and it could be a decoy. Some other stolen item left behind to throw of the noses of the hounds.

OH NO! is this the same apt that you had the cmj party at last year? :( i'm sorry to hear that... i know what it's like to have your shit stolen - car stolen twice, radio stolen three times, entire cd collection jacked at one point, money stolen from crackhead ex-roommates... etc. etc.

it's a horrible, dirty feeling.

Sorry to hear this, Aaron. I've had my car broken into a few times, and that's enough thanks.
