I think Ronnie Lott wasn't the LT of the defensive backfield, but it's more like LT was the Ronnie Lott of the front seven. Lott was the greatest defensive player in NFL history, which means the two greatest players in the history of the game not only come from the same franchise, but the same TEAM. Of course, I am speaking of JoMo, and it takes a lot for a Cowboy fan to bow in deference to the 49ers.

Yeah I'm sorry the guy is great but over Lott & Sanders? And I HATE Sanders but the games greatest coverage corner is better than a guy who's his generations best MLB. I think Urlacher might be the Bears 4th greatest game changer, not the games.
And ask Ickey Woods (if his head isn't still ringing) or Jim Everett what kind of game changer Lott is. Both of thier careers fell apart after Ronnie hit em with a big plays. Everett after that pass to Willie Anderson, a sure TD, was tipped & Woods after Lott rung his bell in the Superbowl.
This is the type of football chatter I love. and Damen, I remember that Everett to Flipper pass and that hit. OUCH!
also, FT, best ever is Elway
