Just ate some ziti and drank a bottle of red. Having a glass of New Zeland Sauvingnon Blanc. Drank Guinness and Boddingtons by the pool all day, while listening to Lucero's "That Much Further West" at least 4 times.

Vous?

I drank 4 Schlafly hefe's, two 1904's, two 17 oz. Newcastles at the restaurant, and now that I'm home I'm starting on my bottle of Sailor Jerry rum.

But all this started at about 11:30 am, so I'm barely starting to get buzzed now thanks to the rum.

Been on Vitamin BL since early in the afternoon. Playing newly acquired vinyl at moderately loud volume. Down to 2 John Hartford rekkids, the first of which is FINE.

Drinking Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and eating rice cakes (mochi or rather dduk in this case...not puffed rice cakes like those quaker things) with soba sauce and a little sriracha and seaweed....pretty much whatever is left in the fridge

Been drinking sangria most of today, but am running out and am deciding between tequila or vodka. I believe the former will win this battle, although I will almost certainly pay DEARLY for it.

And I'm going to listen to some Neil Young pretty soon. I think I need to hear 'Everbody Knows This is Nowhere'.

Two porters at the local brewery and I'm still feeling them a bit. Got home very early as it was laaaame, but did overhear this;

Woman A consoling woman B on the loss of her dog. Apparently, the death occurred some time ago, but this was the first time both were together. Woman A, "I'm so sorry about Lily, I know it's been a while since it happened, but it's been a dog's age since I've seen you."

A dog's age? Just not words I would have chosen considering the situation.

Neeeeeeed. It took me some scotches some beers and some joints to realize that all I needed of course was some Neil.

Liver to brain/scheduling arm of brain---geeez: went to mom's latest ( number 7!!! Go Mom!) wedding in Wa. then snuck off to Portland (loved Northrup, thanks Dana!) to eat and drink my face off ( gained 7-SEVEN- pounds)and hear music and got back yesterday, will post report of solo adventures in Portland Wednesday-Thursday soon ---including fog-a-tron listening notes & review of butt trumphet show--- lots of hangovers and a slight gout attack from all that lovely lovely righteous microbrew....
now I'm back, and today best bud from atlanta arrived, so we drank mucho wine and Gin/tonicas (my friend actually spewed at the table--lightweight. still love ya')
and now I'm drinking more gin, god knows why but I am off tomorrow and the forecast calls for rain rain rain manana, so I might just sleep all day.............. sip.................sip...........sip

Didn't you have a date tonight?

I drank a couple of strawberry margaritas earlier in the day. I've a feeling they didn't sit well in my tummy cuz all day long I've felt weird. Sure enough, by late this evening, I ended puking my guts out. I think the weather isn't helping...hotter than Hades.

Had a bottle of some of California's best "Cabernet Sauvignon" so a bit off center at the moment. Really enjoying the twist and turns that life is throwing at me, healthy as a fox and enjoying North Hollywood.

Went to Amoeba tonight and spent a cool $100 and put back about $200 worth of stuff. Might need to join Dale's "tune of the day" thingy this week, if I can find the time.

np: Led Leppelin – Houses of the Holy (of all things)
