He was a doctor, and a life-long smoker with a gravelly voice, so try to imagine these phrases delivered in a gentle tone with the requisite grit:

Patient: "Dr. Weintraub, it hurts when I do this."
Grampa: "Stop doing this."

*********************************
Grampa (sitting at his big mahagony desk, chain smoking a pack of Raleighs): You gotta stop smoking. It's gonna kill you.

*********************************

"DON'T save the best for last. Eat dessert first, otherwise you'll be too full to enjoy it."

Just got to thinking about him today, and so I thought I'd share a bit with y'all.
Flame away.

Wow. Throw in gauchebag and we'll have a trifecta.

Some wisdom from my grandfather, while watching the NBA:

"It's just a bunch of bald-headed niggers anymore, ain't it?"
