i didn't think it was possible for them to sound more commercial and MTV friendly, but they've done it.

not into this at all, and i'm a fan of their demos and debut album. i hate that cheesy synth...don't they realize how corny it sounds?

i was afraid this was gonna happen.

I thought the debut's first 5-6 songs were great pop music. This seems like a retread but I'm not writing it off just yet.

I hated "Somebody Told Me" when I first heard it but I ended up liking some other stuff on there. Still don't really like that song.

This reminds me of 'Speed of Sound' for some reason; Something more than the blatant suckiness of both.

I'll admit to still gleefully popping in Hot Fuss every month or so, and still enjoying the heck out of it. It's 10X better than many other albums of the same "genre" that the indie community have eaten up.

The vocals seem off or out of place and the guitars are definitely going for that coldplay sound.

It'll probably be huge.

I wasn't a big fan of their first album, in fact I even sold it back to the store not long after buying it, but I like this new single a lot.

And the synth is awesome.

I actually thought they would've done more stuff like "all these things that i've done" on the new one and try to go for more "good" than "suck".

This song has no pop hook, but no goodness either. What's it meant to be?
