Argh. Wasn't even a bad day at work for me today... just an early one. So frickin exhausted.

All I want is to have a little energy when I get home, to:
- make dinner
- talk to my man (or anyone else for that matter)
- work on my creative projects
- maybe, just maybe, get some excercise one of these days.

Today IS Friday.

Just past noon and cracked open me second coldie.

I've been a bit blue and today, but work was fine.

This little boy came in with his family and, for some reason, made a beeline to the counter to tell me all about the trip they were taking. They were from the south and had driven up through New York ("it's the first time I had ever been in New York") and were driving to Canada. He was so cute.

And tomorrow is an actual, honest to goodness, for real Friday for me. It's my second full weekend off since starting well over a year ago.

Eh, it's not bad...

edit: actually, after a little shopping after work and finding some very nicely fitting stuffs, today ended pretty okay indeed.

i have 2 more days of work and then i'm off for a week and only one of those days do i have to put up with my boss.

I was there from 9ish to 7:30ish with a half hour "coffee break"...

and I had to do work on said break...

and I didn't even get to listen to The Long Winters....

yeah it was pretty bad... i'm not one to cry but that made me almost break down at my desk before our meeting the other day. that person has a tendency to take out their stress on everyone else.

as much as i should report it to hr, i don't trust them.

now, i am drinking wine to help me go to sleep (apparently we drank all the whiskey in the house).

I got home a little while ago. Had to take out the trash, water the yard, play with the dogs...dinner? Nah, too hot to eat. Cocktails? Yes, thank you, I'd like one.

i wish i had somewhere to go for the week i'm off.

Best kind of Friday coming for me - on a plane home to FL.

I'd be a lot happier about tomorrow being Friday if I didn't have to work on Saturday...

this whole week has sucked balls.
next week doesnt look any better.
