All of those "ing" movies:

Finding Forrester
Shooting Fish
Chasing Amy

Goddamn annoying and overdone to death yet they still keep coming.

Also, book titles that reference the wife or daughter of the main character. There's got to be a million of these. Examples:

Ahab's Wife
The Death Of The Tinman's Wife
The Pilot's Wife
The Time Traveller's Wife
The Bonesetter's Daughter
The Samurai's Daughter

Authors and publishing houses that continue to do this should be forced to eat their own excrement.

Also, people who are still talking "the ideology" about red state/blue states....grrr.

I concur, but it never really bothered me until you pointed it out. Now it will piss me off beyond belief. Thanks for helping to spread the hate.

Ponchos (which are no longer trendy, and only look good on waiflike tall women)

Ugg boots (see trendy remark above)

White shoes (even gym shoes-- the only exception is bridal shoes)

Tommy Hilfiger

edit: my bad... I thought this was a general "things that really bother me."

I also like Saving Private Ryan, so nyah, Darrin.

Turtlenecks or mock-turtlenecks. When paired with a blazer, they represent the epitome of suburban white-man schmuck styling, and need to be stopped.
See Peyton Manning's post game interview from Sunday, or Jim Nance just about anytime he's on TV.

People who can't follow the plot of movies/TV shows and need explanations throughout. I have a friend who does this and it makes hanging out with them difficult.

People who mispronounce or just get names/places dead ass wrong. The above mentioned friend repeatedly refers to Terry McAuliffe as "Terry McAulfee."

I could go on forever. There is next to nothing that I can't find some issue with, with the exception of UGA Football and The Rolling Stones.

I admit that this movie was good but the title of the porno film, Shaving Ryan's Privates is better.

Yeah, and leg warmers too. Hate em. Always will. Seeing them together is like living in the 6th circle of hell.

Stay at home moms who wear Juicy Couture
Americans who wear baseball caps while abroad (an Englishman once told me that this is the first way he spots an American tourist, along with white gym shoes)
Jogging strollers
the Pontiac Aztek (someone should shoot the designer who came up with that one)
Sweatshirts and sweatpants-- the most unflattering clothing ever conceived (it could only be made worse by adding horizontal stripes)
Parents who bring their kids to bars

I hate anything with a name.
Bananas -- hate 'em
cars -- hate 'em

Now, "X", the so-called "unknown", "unnamed"... now THAT is cool.

But the second you give it a name... UGH!!!
And don't even get me started on π!

A sweatshirt by itself is fine, but a sweatshirt PAIRED with sweatpants are disgusting. Think of "mall walkers" and Wal-Mart enthusiasts.

Yeah, I don't think I'd ever wear my sweatshirt with sweatpants.

But what if I wear shorts, black socks and slippers out in public?
Am I ready to join AARP?

ST. LOUIS (Oct. 4, 2004) - B-to-the-E (BE), Budweiser's newest entry in a long line of innovative beers by Anheuser-Busch, is a distinctive new product for contemporary adults who are looking for the latest beverage to keep up with their highly social and fast-paced lifestyles.

As the industry leader, Anheuser-Busch is the first major brewer to infuse beer with caffeine, guarana and ginseng. Well balanced with select hops and aromas of blackberry, raspberry and cherry, BE will offer a lightly sweet and tart taste - a great mixture of beer and new flavors for adults to enjoy when out with friends at a club or at a bar after work with colleagues.

It's Budweiser so inherently bad in my opinion but seriously caffeinated beer?

Great, give meatheads in bars more excuses when they beat somebody up.

CW 101: the present participle is too passive a voice to work as a title.

Reality 101: But the movie execs love it - and, whether you like it or not, they will change your original title into an "ing".

Or, really, people who talk about Clay Aiken in the first place.

I can't stand it when people eat food on the subway. The trains are filthy and crawling with bacteria. It's fucking disgusting. Stop it.
