I'm probably with you on that, e-stone, just because i don't have a particularly substantial wardrobe, and always have to change clothes during the summer.

I love summer, but not the humidity that we had today. But i guess this is nothing compared to what a lot of you guys are having. Spare a thought for Mike in Iraq.

Nothing for me beats chilling out with your buddies down by the lake, fishing. Beers in the cool box, barbecue on the go. Kicking back in the sun. Hurry up Friday.

I love the winter if it is snowing. The bars have Irish coffee and cocoa specials during those months and I'm very partial to cardigans, t-shirts and cords. I also like to wear stocking hats all hours of the day. I only hate the winter when it is like -40 and it is a dry cold.

Wait. Are the global warming comments jokes? I thought that global warming isn't "provable" by hot summers and cool winters. Besides, I remember two summers ago in CA where I was, it hardly broke 90. That is not hot at all. And the following Christmas was one of the coldest out here in VA that we've had in a long time. It snowed like almost a foot out here which happens about every decade. I just didn't think the individual heat spurts and cool spurts really had much at all to do with the issue of global warming at all. I thought global warming was the general warming of the globe itself, not the air temperature.

I am really really confused.

Coincidentally, I just saw An Inconvenient Truth today.

I got fed up with hiding from the sun and decided to go out for a bike ride. I got sweaty just trying to fix my bike rack before leaving.

Ended up biking to the parc...much nicer and cooler than our apt.

Tonight supper: homemade fruit smoothie. Absolutely NO DESIRE for warm/cooked food of any kind.

:(

I think Parc is French.... But, were there still to be a MLB team in Montreal, and were he to pitch for it, Chan Ho would still be Park, not Parc.

Well, see now, she's warm and all over the globe. Which would make yr basic global warming. What they call the actual factual.

That other thing would be something like, I don't know, maybe global cooling. Weather shit gets complicated. Spit.

So since my car was in the garage today I rode my bike to the movies tonight which was probably bad idea #1. Bad idea #2 was to eat a calzone in a pizza place. I probably just should've lit myself on fire.

I have an almost tan from walking around New York this weekend. An almost tan is as far as I go before "ow... buuuurn", so that's pretty exciting for me. Yay summer.

We might only barely break 100 today with the heat index included, tomorrow it could get as hot as 117 here with the heat index. That shit ain't right.

No, it's just my Biligual-Montreal spelling. Even though English is my first language I used to spell "I'm" with and "e" on the end... because I was in French immersion in elementary school and every word in French has an "e" on the end of it.

Guess I wrote "parc" thinking maybe it was the "Canadian" spelling. Duh.

See... check out the "franglais" action on this Quebec-based site: http://www.parcsafari.com/

me stupid.
