5.99 at Applebees

well yeah, if she really was one of THEM.

I've never had a non-Anglo waitress at Applebee's, nor P.F. Chang's, nor Cheesecake Factory, nor Maggiano's. So who are these THEM, at such places, of which you speak?

wow, you like crappy chain restaurants huh?

Fried Pickles are always good, as is Brunswick Stew. At a swanky place like Outback, I go for the grilled shrimp ;)

Dalen -- Conch Fritters are the BOMB. I ate them at almost every place I went in The Bahamas and The Keys.

Have you ever seen the Cribs w/ Trick Daddy? Player makes some conch fritters; it's highly amusing.

I've never had conch fritters, but now I am intrigued. Though I have no idea if I can get them in North Cack.

Conch fritters are good.

My favorite appetizer of all time is the flash-fried oysters from Mr. B's Bistro in New Orleans.

Although, you can't go wrong with cheese fries from anywhere.

The Conch: Image

Quote:
These are swift snails of the sea. While hunting divers must hold their breath for adequate amounts of time in generally very shallow waters. Many Conch traders desire to barter their catch for cases of beer if a passing vessel wishes such a transaction. These divers can be found around the many Islands of the Bahamas and various tropical oceans around the world

Love those fritters.

Best shit ever. I like these too much. I'll eat them untill I make my self sick.

The best hangover appetizer in Atlanta, IMO, is Atkins Park's Fried Chicken Nachos:

Fried Chicken pieces, jalapenos, black beans, tomatoes, salsa, sour cream, lettuce and queso.

Good lord. Fried stuff with cheese on it.

I will defend these restaurants for the following:

Crapplebees- they have my fave cheese sticks of anywhere. That's all I'll ever go there for. Worst hot wings I've ever had.

PF Changs- my favorite Hot and Sour soup of anywhere and the lettuce wraps are great.

Cheesecake Factory - Not a fan of their dinner/lunch food but their deserts are unbelievable. Dulce De Leche Caramel Cheesecake is ri-damn-diculous.

Maggianos- Love this place. It along with Houston's are my favorite "upscale" chain restaurants. You can't wrong going "family style" in there with a big group and some red wine.

No, but I have scouted a location I hope to hit on friday. Literally a shackon the side of the road. Should be good. I WILL, however, carry a gun ;)

Yeah, I plan to do this thing right. Maybe get the broken down old cook to stand in for some snaps.

If its half as good as it looks, I am in for a treat.
