I think it's brilliant.
It's currently sparring with the new Belle & Sebastian for my favorite of '06.

Definitely not for everybody, but then again, nothing he does ever is. The first song has hints of Dr. Dre in the production, but with a 70-year-old Brazilian weirdo-freak ranting and raving over the top. It goes on from there, with instruments ranging from Ficus tree leaves to pots and pans to traditional instruments (of course).

He also has a female singer joining him on several songs, as I belive this is supposed to be an operetta and she is playing a character.

I know I posted this song before, but as long as you asked:
"Estupidó Rapiz"
Code:

And as far as the Shrimp Boat song, I got nothing on me right now, mp3wise.
I'll try to get you something tomorrow.

Maybe in Brazil. In the US, it was released in 2006. But we all know, you're on Brazil time. ;)

I live in the suburbs.
I don't get into Chicago much, especially for record shopping.
Best Buy didn't get it until April of 2006.

But yeah, Dusty Groove is a helluva store.
