One of my favorite Mexican cantinas, Fiesta Garibaldi, has a jukebox featuring a largely Norteno/Latin collection, but there are some U.S. pop/rock standards, and such. Among it all, GN'R - Lies. I am now tempted, each time I go there for a meal, to cue up "One in a million".

Appetite without question; one of my favourite albums of all time. Illusion could easily be truncated into one single disc which would be nearly as great. (Actually, it would be truly great if they would have shot Dizzy Reed accidently during the recording sessions and removed every fucking stupid piano sound from songs that do not require it.) Lies is mostly throwaway stuff, with a fake live recording. And the less said about that stupid punk covers album the better.

I'll go with the majority and say Appetite also. I do like Lies, even the fake live recordings, but it's nowhere near as accomplished or as solid of an album as Appetite.

I've never really spent much time listening to their other stuff. I don't own either of the Illusion albums. I should probably pick them up sometime used.
