that's funny, as I was saying "Tom Boasley!" to people all day and then looking away. But we have to wait two months after seeing the American Dad pilot before the series starts? thats' a load of shit. Nobody's going to even remember what was going on by then. Also, having them both on the same night could mean trouble. I've read a lot of reviews that claim that AD is waaay too similar to Family Guy (wise-cracking alien? Goldfish with a German accent?) so it might not help to have the one follow another.


Also, there was an article in the Inquirer the other day about the amount of influence those TV decency groups have and how a show like family guy, which received minimal complaints in it's original run, could be in serious jeopardy now in the post-boobgate prime-time world. One thing I read in the article scared the hell out of me:
complaints in 2000: 111
complaints in 2004: 1,068,000+

Heh heh.

Sadly, I am not cool enough to be tv-less because I'm So Great. If I have one, I watch it all the time. I watch the good stuff, I watch the crap. Last time I had a tv I knew the plots of eastenders and coronation street in detail. Last week I was in a hotel and watched four hours of Sunday night tv, about 20 minutes of which I enjoyed. Did I stop, you ask, when it became obvious I wasn't liking it? No I did not. Would I prefer socialist revolution? Yes, but I was too lulled to create it. I'm not allowed like a drunk can't have a bottle of tequila on the coffee table.
