the manager seriously wanted me to drop out of college to become an assistant manager at this County Seat. to drop out. after a week of being there. she was also 24 years old and female

looking back on things, I think i was seriously living the dream.

however, I still have the terrifying vision of making a left around the t-shirt rack and coming face to face with a small mexican kid who threw up his bean burrito straight into the air. it was like a geyser. i had to clean that up. one of the bad parts about the job.

Chain store retail was a blast in high school. We forged a reciprocal discount program with all of the other worthwhile stores, beer breaks in the mall catacombs, sunbathing breaks on the never-used top floor of the parking deck (donuts in the winter), ahh the days.

Well, I take the bus so it's only about $5 a day and I bring a lunch.


And, if tonight's tour of the store was any indication, these are top-shelf dog show contestants I'll be working with. Out of the three girls under the age of 35, and the one under the weight of 200 lbs., things do not look too good. Though working in the mall could lead to decent customer exposure.
