i'm trying to think of how her live show would be better than the album and coming up with nothing. She just seems like the type of artist that really wouldn't come through in a live capacity.

I really enjoyed it, she came through fine.

How is the album? I've liked what I've heard, but Stylus trashed it (though I didn't actually read the review so I don't know what they didn't like).

It's pretty damn good for pop music. Very catchy. She has a bit of attitude as well. What's Stylus?

i think her music is fun. not many people like it here at work though... must be a uk thing.

I love how this thread has evolved from the original pisstake/parody thread, that sat nicely alongside the Wrens & Clientele threads for a few minutes.

This was to compensate for my very mild irritation at having the daily posts about bands that are not touring in the UK.

I had a quick read of that stylus review and yeah i'm guessing it's an american mag by any chance? I think he misunderstood the lyrics and has struggled to understand her sarcasm. But i do like how he says it is pop music for people who hate pop music. Incredible stuff.
