For the beats and energy, I'll go with 'Music for the Jilted Generation'.

but I'm a song man, and the best 'songs' were on 'Fat of the Land'.

new record.......what happened?
im sorry, I dont think Liam should have scrapped the 'Baby's Got a Temper' sessions..... thats osng was far better than anything on the new record, even if it was a continuation of the last record....

I'm w/ Twilight Kid.

"Fat"'s songs are hard to top, especially "Diesel Power." That track is unfuckwit'able*.

yeah, "fat of the land" rocks more than "jilted" because it's just harsher and more involved from the "rap" guys. i still have a place for my first prodigy album, "experience" too. "outnumbered" just sounds like prodigy's mix album, volume 2. good, but not distinctive. plus i just feel like the basement jaxx did "outnumbered", but better.

c'mon, not even a question...."experience"

because it's fookin' ardcore man, and because [at the time] is was a groundbreaking album. it was such a definitive release for that music, in a time when artists like sl2, ragga twins, carl cox, acen, and mc lethal were all making cut-n-paste breakbeat.

Not enough of "Experiance" holds up IMO. Favorite album when it was released, I freakin loved it & it still holds very strong nostalgia value but in hindsight emotion aside or for an outsider looking in it's "Fat..." by a mile. I always thought they put too many crappy remixes on the album, the version of "Everybody in the Place" is inexcusable. I still have an "Experiance" t-shirt someplace, too bad it has bleach stains on it or I'd still wear it.

Dalen- Have you seen Back To The Old School The 10 years of dance section is pretty rad. Not as deep as Bassquake was but it's got a ton of old ram files

For me it's easily "Music for the Jilted Generation"

followed by "Experience" and then "Fat of the Land".

I love them all.

Shiv's right about "The Dirtchamber Sessions"
