I don't understand how California can have such a power shortage for the past x number of years. Why don't they build some more plants, or get some more from the Hoover damn or something? Is Arnold holding all this up?

I know this will sound unbelievable, but for Portland, investing in a complete home AC system is ridiculous, since you'd probably only end up using it maybe 7 days a year. I do have a window unit for the upstairs.

Normally, it's cool enough (like highs are around 85) in the summer that you don't NEED AC.
