I have never been able to grow facial hair my entire life, but you have inspired me to give it another try, Colin! I have been working on a half-assed goatee for close to a week now, and it will soon be visible enough to actually be photographed. I will PSTPICPLSKTHX at that time.

Well, it's been a while since I posted this foolishness, but since I haven't shaved it off, I thought you folks might want to see what it looks like these days (a few drinks have passed my lips since it was freshly waxed, so I can post a pic of it even fancier at some point, if anyone is interested):

What do you think?

This. Is. Awesome. Possibly the only person, besides Wyatt Earps brother in Tombstone, that looks decent with a mustache. Keep it. Never let it go.

You look like:

Jim Croce?

Is that a question of doubt meaning you disagree or is that you actually verifying that that is Jim Croce?

I am attempting to verify that photo-image as (the) one (& only) Jim Croce.

You would be correct in your assessment, senor.

Croce was the first to come to mind, but knowing this board, I had half a mind to take him for Frank Zappa. So: I needed to clarify. Thanks, Hegeliano.

I had a pretty big one for a month or so post-this thread starting, but it's a month or so gone by now...

It was never as majestic as this one, though... I just kinda looked like Andy Reid...

My hope is that this will prompt LooGAR to re-grow the full-blown CHRISTMAS TREE MONSTER beard, even though I know FEMGAR won't let him, and he one of THEM WHIPPED.

I would expect that we will see what I can grow from Nov 9th until Dec. 9th...until then, its hard to show up in meetings and look serious with a boohoo beard and Depp's POTC get up on ;)

Someone asked about what the mustache looks like of late. Here's a photo from Tuesday night's show - this fucker'll be five months old tomorrow.

A 'stache like that needs to be accompanied by a suit, preferably three-piece, and a monocle. Even if you're playing a rock-show.

... Then again, suspenders are apparently the new white belt, and those are perceived as fairly classy. Regardless, whoever said you can't rock in a suit?

I don't know if it's a hipster thing or not since we don't have their kind in Indianapolis. I like the 'stache though. To me, if you're going to do it, make it old fashioned. Do it like the gentlemen of the 19th century did it. You have done that and I think it rules.
