besides me? not a single concert so far. :( $ problems have been the main reason. i'm hoping to go see wolf parade & frog eyes come august for $15, but who knows how broke we'll be by then...

I saw Ringo and His All-Starrs.
That's it, aside from shows where I actually was a part of the bill.

Ditto. And nothing in sight for the foreseeable future, either. (sigh) I'm getting old - I don't even really care all that much that I've done neither this year.

I saw a mariachi band with my son. That's about it for me.

yeah, between the $ & watching kiddo, there's not much room for concerts. it doesn't help that wife doesn't like most of the stuff i'm interested in.

i've seen more than my wallet can afford, but i've been holding back lately, because i'm saving up for a festival in august.

also in nyc, during the summer you've got a good number of free music festivals every weekend.

I've only been to three concerts. One was a pair of tickets for my birthday. One was a free ticket because the guy had no one to go with.

So yeah, it's been money issues. And my previously-covered issues of not going to shows alone and having no friends.

I've even missed out on free shows. Or will. The Weakerthans are playing a free show this Saturday and, because I had no one to go with, I agreed to work. So now it's too late regardless.

ive seen maybe 4 or so shows ive paid for [high on fire, low, liars, growing] and have tix for 2 more [silver mt zion, mastodon] and otherwise it's been whatever's free and happening in the park.
damn, i used to see 3 or 4 shows a week.
but i'm saving to move, so my laziness and desire to not pay to see stuff i'm not really that into works out well.

I'm really considering it now. If someone I have to see comes -- Flaming Lips, Polyphonic Spree, Pipettes, Guster, etc. -- I'm not going to miss it. I've already missed Eels and Lips more times than I can count.

i don't remember. I was about to say I hadn't seen anything, but then I realized I saw go! team/all is love, mogwai, violent femmes, cunninglynguist and a few others i'm probably forgetting. Still, i can only think about hitting the hold steady show in 2 weeks.

I've been to more concerts this year than ever before. But I never really went to many before this year, so that wasn't hard to do. I've been to 13 so far, and have plans to go to 6 more at this point.

Those numbers would probably be way higher if St. Louis wasn't so lame in the gig department.
