I don't have many posts so maybe this'll help notch it up a bit.

1.(by alphabetical order) A Perfect Circle- Mer De Noms

I got this by trading a friend Stainds "Break the Cycle". It was a good trade. I grew up a Tool freak and was excited to hear new stuff since it had been four years since Aenima. The album is lusher and more varied than anything Maynard had done previously. It's songs are also tighter and more focused. At the same time it doesn't stand up to scrutiny as well as Maynard's other albums. The production is no where near as thick and the drumming is weak by any standards. The melodies however make up for all the transgressions. Maynard and Billy soar higher and farther on a metal album than anyone this side of Dream Theater.

Highlight: "3 Libras"

Forgetable: "Over"
