Weekend Thread

I have no idea if anyone started one yet, and am too lazy to check. I figured since I have nothing better to do while sit at work, I'd start it.
Friday: I work the graveyard shift again tomorrow night
Saturday: I get off at 7am, and will be sleeping most of the day. Then I'm going to get up cook some steaks and probably spend some quality time with my girlfriend
Sunday: I have to work at 7am.
Overall, this weekend sucks and is filled with lots of work so I can be off next weekend.

saturday: movies (scanner darkly, clerks 2 or monster house. yes. i said monster house. it looks cute. ha.)

sunday: little mountain folk festival

Saturday: Work my way home, possibly seeing another South African along the way
Sunday: gaming (Titan Quest and/or FF7), maybe a load of laundry

FRIDAY
- work till 1:30
- train out to NJ, spend the day and night bumming withh the GF
- she wants to see 'you me and dupree'

SATURDAY
- waking up at 8
- driving down to silver springs, MD to hang out with ym cousins and their two kids.
- BBQ, swim in pool, weather permitting

SUNDAY
-chill for a bit
- start heading back, with a stop in Phili
- my band, OH THE HORROR, are playing the balcony at the Trocadero in Phili, PA at 6pm.
-head back, train to NYC
- collapse.

tonight: going to see the tom goes to the mayor guys at the franklin institute

tomorrow: wake up at 7, drive the girl to the airport. 30 minutes later pick up a good friend at the airport flying in from portland. make things blurry. go to said friend's house, catch up with his family, get more blurry. Was thinking about going to that DBT/Black Crowes show, but at $60 they can go fuck themselves. Am thinking about going to Makin' Time to see the Long Blondes, but haven't really heard enough of their stuff to care.

sunday: play disc golf, go swimming, drink lots of beer. celebrate birthday with my grandparents. then have party at my house with a bunch of college buddies.

monday: take off, tallboy cans.

today: clean apartment really fast. welcome shoegaze dave to my home. fall asleep while sitting with him on the couch. go to dinner. go dancing and molest some friends. do funny things to dave as he sleeps on my couch.

tomorrow: run, hopefully swim, eat breakfast, go to brewers game, come home. do funny things to dave as he sleeps on my couch.

sunday: PITCHFORK, MOTHERF*CKERS!! best day of music in all of '06. (i hope)

I can personally vouch that Dave enjoys funny things while he sleeps. (I wonder if he'll be wearing his pink shirt...it's my fave).

Sat - All day beer session. First one in a long while. Doing the "famous" Welly road run with the boys. Odds that i make it to a night club. 1000-1.

Sat: Wake up at 7am to pick up a Uhaul, pick up a couch for my brother, move to new place, settle what I can before 3pm and drive to Rough Raleigh for an engagement party, get toasted

Sun: Lunch with a friend moving to Japan soon, drive back to Charlotte, maybe see a movie

Saturday: I don't know. Tennis? I'd like to do some shopping, Maybe go exploring on my bike, which I should do some maintenance on first.

Sunday: Good friend coming into town for his and twin's birthdays. Tennis. BBQ.

After an exhausting week at work with one small fundraiser, and a huge event at the Intrepid, I plan on just sleeping and staying in all weekend.

It's gonna be a French New Wave sort of weekend. Now, to figure out what to drink. Beer just doesn't seem appropriate.
