i have about 7 of the 20 blurbs in already, so bravo to the early birds. hell, i still haven't written one, but that's alright and most likely for the best. i'll probably steal someone else's flow, which is the hallmark of being a songwriter these days.

anyhow, tonight at 11 PM EST is the deadline. if it'd be easier, you can definitely PM the blurbs to me, but kevin at theallstonplan dot com is still easiest.

depends on what you're reviewing i suppose! review content format as additional commentary on the record, etc.

ok, keep the spaces.

100 words is just a useful guideline, as you shouldn't need to write more than 1-2 short paragraphs for something of this sort.

also, the only potential editing i will do is: fact-checking (so, release dates, record labels, things of that sort) and spelling.

I'll work on it at work today, if things slow down...
Actually, I just noticed it's an 8 PM deadline for me - I'll have to do it @ work today...

I didn’t know we were doing blurbs, didn’t open that thread. I would of liked to have done one or some, oh well. This explains the delay.

1 of 2 things:

1 - take the reviews from FT or Contradiction's published online lists (I've already done that for 3 albums, but only because they volunteered those albums)

or

2 - write them myself using babelfish at least 4 times.

That should be motivation enough for all y'all slackers.

(also, i'm kidding, i'll wait, but really, this shouldn't be too hard right?)

They should have been able to come up with 100 words about one of their favorite albums in an hour. That would have been a more exciting deadline.

Sent mine...and my intro wasn't as long as I thought, once I put it on paper.
