The production isn't great... every time I hear it, I think my speakers are on the verge of blowing up and Jeff Mangum's voice definitely leaves much to be desired. For some reason, though, this song makes me want to fall in love and skip down a street while holding my lover's hand. Well that explains it. Here I thought you'd unearthed some obscure rarity from '72 or something. But what the hell, it's still morning, I'm still chugging coffee, so the golf claps shall continue.

I listened, and Kurtz and I are already planning ways to make it even better. I am impressed, though, by his ability to do all of this basically from scratch. Good on ya, Bloor.

Good voice, Yail. Only suggestion is less dead space. Tighten up the gaps and you're golden.

Thanks man--coming from somebody who does stuff like this everyday for a living, I appreciate the criticism. To be honest, I had the freedom to editout or recut some of the dead spots and just let them go. The hardest part for me is having to do all the production and engineering and not having someone else to bounce stuff off of and handle some of the talking while I push buttons.

No matter. Its fun as hell.

this was great fun. great voice. nice music choices. loved the nmh to nyd to t. rex segment. but really it was all good. like frosty says, maybe just tighten it up...oh, and it needs more choppers...like apocalypse now choppers.
