Was thinking about going to that DBT/Black Crowes show, but at $60 they can go fuck themselves.

considering the Truckers only play like 30 minutes and play first, that's money well saved.

What bar or location are you in a "house band" at?

You should totally be on a cable access talk show as the houseband.

Ha. It's literally the folks I live with, therefore: house band. Everyone has their own songs, we all trade around instruments, etc. I think we'll probably play an invite-only show in our living room later this summer. AMBITION!

Tonight: Gave up my Dodger tickets, for the journey to Dodger stadium is too much for me in this exausted state. Instead, taking in a showing of Little Miss Sunshine, then home to pass out and/or watch Fright Night.

Saturday: Work 'till 5. Watch Tightrope and/or pass out. If up for it, Beer and Any Which Way but Loose/Any Which Way You Can marathon. Either way, sleep and Clint Eastwood will be involved...

Sunday: Either Champagne Sunday and a state of drunken drunkeness or laying about and sleeping, depending on how hot it is...

For the first time in 51 months, I'm enjoying a weekend at home in Florida without having to make a dreaded return trip to Las Vegas.

You've finally moved back home, eh? I'm sure you're ecstatic about being closer to your sons.

Awesome dude. Welcome back, we'll warm up some vittles for ya and ice down a couple beers. You just sit out front on the swing and re-lax.

Gonna be bubbaque on the grill (mustard-based sauce, naturally), a wash tub full of BL's, and neighbor-rattling rock n' roll at the ole homestead today.

Still awesome... Dodger Stadium hasn't quite started doing that yet..... Then again, my Boys in Blue ain't exactly hurtin' for fans....

Yet...

And, as an official update, many beers have been drank, yet Eastwood night was Pre-empted for a repeat viewing of Sean Of The Dead and other miscellaney...

Just thought I'd keep you up to date while I'm here...
