I've finally jumped on the bandwagon. I picked up an ipod this evening. My boss gave me $50 to throw towards one, so I figured sure. I'm filling it as I type. The one thing that sucks...can't go directly from cd->ipod. Derr.

I did. 60gb. I'm ripping and going now. How long does it generally take for the "Do Not Disconnect" to stop? Is my adding songs hindering it?

DND takes 5-20 seconds. If you are adding songs it will not disconnect, but after you have finished using the device, it should disconnect fairly quickly.
