I'd be in favor of going after Zito. Zambrano, Zito, Prior, Marshall, Marmol looks good to me.

Yes. Starting with the management.

Do you really want Mulder? Another example of the Cubs overpaying for someone on the downside of their career.

Yes, I'd be happy with Mulder. He's been hurt this year, but over his career he's been very reliable. And downside of his career? He's only going to be 30 next month.

Let's add Schmidt. Another injury prone strikeout pitcher. Yea!

He's averaged nearly 200 innings the last four years.

Has Pierre had that much of a better season than Cory last year?

You're kidding, right?

I'm hoping that bitch Shea Hillenbrand fucks with your already unstable circus of clubhouse personalities.

The Phillies are retarded, they got absolutely no talent in return for Abreu and a starting pitcher in Lidle. They didn't even get any of the best Yankee prospects in this deal. I'd be pissed if I was a Phils fan.
The Cards traded Hector Luna for Ronnie Belliard, now they just need to get some pitching before they lose the NL Central lead.

yeah, this seems like a pretty horrendous deal for the phillies. i guess pat gillick is only contributing to them being one of the worst-run sports franchises in american history.

Phils trade Rheal Cormier to the Reds.

A's are making a late run for Soriano. Might not keep him, though.

I love the Astros. You know this. What would I like to see? Trade Clemens to the Red Sox for a boatload of prospects (you Sox fans would have to help me out here on your farm system). The guy deserves better than what he's getting in Houston. He's pitching his tail off with nothing to show. Sending him to Boston would put their rotation up there with the AL's best and give the Rocket a glorious finish to his career.

Ok, I know it will never happen, but it should. How would you Red Sox guys feel about this.
