They are called The Thermals. I wasn't gonna go but then Tania call me around 9PM, and after I finished talking to her, I decided, why the hell not. So thanks for the inspiration to get out on a Tuesday night, Tania. The band was really good, something that's mkes you want to dancing, or at least tap your foot Check out if you get a chance. They're local over here. I've seen them. Kind of annoying hipster kids. I got 2 or 3 of their albums, but they don't thrill me that much. Just kinda fun to let loose with, I guess.

I dig the first album. Never heard the second, but the all-girl summer fun band usually manages to hit a sweet spot right between my ribs.

They're pretty good live - pop-punk, heavy on the pop. I don't understand why kids who go GaGa for the Thermals reject bands like Mr. T Experience, Green Day, et al...
