Rather Ripped is turning out to be one of the better of the post-Dirty albums. At least there are some new sounds on here (Do You Believe in Rapture, Or), unlike Sonic Nurse, which is nothing but retreads as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, those two songs, "Neutral", and "Pink Stream" are all really solid. It's not as good as Murray Street, but it's a solid album and better than most of the others on that list.

I would listen to Rather Ripped over any of those, followed by Sonic Nurse. But then I'm not a big SY fan. I just find RR particularly melodically pleasing, one of my favorites of the year in fact.

i'd vote murray street for overall consistency.

the highlights of "rather ripped" are better than the murray street highlyights but it just doesn't deliver over a long period of time.

I've always really like Jet Set so it gets my vote. Aside from the new one and Sonic Nurse I've never been able to get into the other albums that much. They just leave me wanting to play early SY to cleanse.
