He's the only dude I've ever seen with the gumption to take off the shirt of a male in the audience, wipe his own face of its sweat, and throw it back in the face of its owner.

I've yet to witness him live. He was in Chicago about two weeks ago too. Damn. Based on his appearance alone I'm sure his live shows are hilarious.

Fucking retarded. Kid was running from one end of the empty venue to the other, standing on the bar, spitting at the 'tendress, jumping off speakers, when he opened for S. Rock in Milw. Every town's got one awesome white boy rapper/group. (Dallas' is tha muthafuckin' Best Fwends, bitch: Muthafuckin' Rick Rubin REMIXXX)

DMB, please post the rest of that album, man! That shit brings back MEMORIES! Spazz wouldn't comp me a CD, so I kicked him out tha tour van. Boxxx thought he was tagging to MPLS. Hell ...

I wish the album was in my possesion, but it's not. What I've heard is via Myspace and that one hilarious video clip on his website.

http://www.cindersgallery.com/events/juiceboxx.html

You like this Rick remix? Remixes have been doing absolutely nothing for me lately. That one Pase Rock remix though was pretty great. Shit, I'm thinking of great remixes right now like Spank Ro's Lady Sov one. My fault.

Yes, I like this Rick Rubin remix. I think it's the off the disco chain. I think it's haphazard and funky. I like the Pase Rock remix. "All y'all at the bar with the Stella Artois", yada yada blah blah. I don't know the Lady Sov mix, don't think. The XXXchange CSS remix is ass though, if you ask me. Almost as bad as the orig.

[ JAPANTHER ]
Two guys, bass, drums, tapes falling over anthemic awesomeness. The best and most positive dance band in New York. Like "Holiday Road" from the Natl Lampoon's Vacation soundtrack played super loud with equipment falling over and shirts off and metal tapping bass riffs and totally soulful hip hop hardcore drumming and crazy samples and drum machine beats on old cassettes and singing along. "Japanther make the type of music that dares people to stand still. Poppy surf-punk numbers mixxed with comedy and performance. Be it film, sycronized swimming, puppets or a parking lot under a freeway rest assured you'll get show." - Japanther HQ
-- WEBSITE --> http://japanther.com
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/japanthermusic

[ THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB ]
Folk-punkers TBIAPB represent Pensacola, FL. Progenitors of an unstoppable empire of stickers-on-yr-bike scuffy freegan PR - TBIAPB rawk the college kids and the crusties alike - loveable! "TBIAPB succeeds because they're doing what they've always done: making music for themselves˜and for their fans˜without pretension and without a thought for whether or not their sound is "marketable." - LiP Magazine
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/tbiapb

[ DAN DEACON ]
"Absurdist composer and electronic musician performs with his "messy table of fancy electronic whosit and howsthat." Influenced by Devo, Talking Heads, Scratch Orchestra, People Like Us, Raymond Scott and Conlon Nancarrow, Dan's music strives to take contemporary experimental composition and electronic music out of the circle of the esoteric intellectual gangs and hipster communities and place it into the more informal "fun time." His performance and compositional techniques shows strong influences from the Fluxus Movement, Spiderman, Absurdism, and the current movement in underground rock. While maintaining a constant performance and tour schedule he has spent most of his time working on pieces for brass ensemble, string quartet, solo cello, casio song workings, solo study and his study in mid and high frequency sine waves." - Baltimore City Paper . What the fúck ever. Dan Deacon makes yr áss move to the sounds of blown out speaker radness.
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/dandeacon

[ PARTS AND LABOR ]
Controlled chaotic odd rock destruction from BJ Warshaw, Dan Friel, and Christopher Weingarten. Catchy as shít vocal melodies, bass, electronic explosions, and pummelling drums = quirky awesome rock n' roll.
-- MP3s --> http://www.partsandlabor.net/av.html
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/partsandlabor

[ LEXIE MOUNTAIN BOYS ]
Lexie Mountain, booking matriarch of Baltimore's Talking Head, has put together a kickin' band of hottie ladies with "lo-fi chop and mutilate attitude, capturing a wide variety of vocal emissions and belching their essence. Center of attention deficit disorder as perpetrated entirely in analog and mostly by accident. Coniferous, Haunting!" - HereSee.com
-- BIO / MP3s --> http://www.heresee.com/lexihs059.htm
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/mountainlex

[ ZS ]
Highly complex, but somehow simultaneously dream-like. This band can sound like a Mondrian painting sawd into peices and thrown at you in shards. "Troubleman Unlimited recording artists Zs are a New York band working between the worlds of Avant Rock and New Music. Mostly instrumental, the music often explores the extremes of compositional complexity and virtuosity as well as extended repetition. The sound ranges from bombastic Prog Rock counterpoint to barely audible breathing sounds." - Tonic
-- MP3 --> http://www.troublemanunlimited.com/mp3/zs-olympics.mp3

[ HIGH PLACES ]
Brooklyn's Mary Pearson and Robert Barber (Casual Rob from Bad Waste) makes the sound that comes from a conch shell put up to your ear. Classic indie pop re-envisioned with beatz electronics and chimes - in matching hoodies! - twee intact.
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/hellohighplaces

[ NECKING ]
Necking is Flight of the Buffalo king Nick going apeshít on two drumkits with revolving door backup / duo-ism. Anyone who watched Necking's seminal lakeside performance, accompanied by a sunset and geese taking flight - in Prospect Park this last spring - knows the beauty that Nick and his friends, with full drums kits between them and a suitcase full of what-the-foick ever can provide.
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/necking
-- WEBSITE --> http://www.necking.co.kr/

[ BUCKS AND GALLANTS ]
This Charlottesville, VA band has mastered "high octane, poignant shred!" - Monkeyclaus
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/ourbucksandgallants

[ LIDIA STONE ]
Spazz-pop with pounding drums and super-fuzzed out keys - awesome!
-- MYSPACE / MP3s --> http://myspace.com/lidiastone
see y'all out!

brought to you with love by Todd P
