I only got this idea from another thread where Halloween 2007 was mentioned... well what about 2006?? Here in Athens, Halloween is pretty much the biggest holiday of the year, and most people already know what they are going to dress as by the the middle of September, if not earlier. So any of you have any great ideas for this year?? I can't beat my last year's costume, simply because my costume last year was the most random, ridiculous thing imaginable (The Pickle Fairy- there is a pic on my Flickr account thingy). However, I think this year I'm going to try for Crack-Whore Smurfette. (Hey, the show got cancelled, Papa kicked her on the streets to make some money for the colony, you know...) What are your ideas? At least for those who still do this sort of childish tradition...

oh man, I love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. Unfortunately, I can never think of a good/great costume until usually a week after it passes. If I think of anything, I'll post.

I started throwing parties every Halloween because, once my friends turned sixteen or so, they stopped celebrating it. And I was like "fuck that. I'm not just going to sit at home watching tv on Halloween."

So I think this year will be the fourth annual Harloween.

2005: supposed to be a ghost pirate, ended up just pirate
2004: ghost
2003: Chronic (from the Kevin Smith films); my friend was Bluntman

I'm contemplating being Wayne Coyne this year.

my best friend has black hair, and i have naturally brown hair, so i figured we could go as daria and jane. i have doc martens and a green blazer so i don't see why not.

that's unoriginal though.
i made my costume last year.
i love halloween. i can't wait.

Are you going to curl your hair?

It looks like you'd have to wear curlers in for it to stay that way.

They are. Are you going to spend all Halloween in the Lollipop Woods?

Nothing so far, but I really considered shaving my head and going as Michael Stipe.

I don't really have much motivation this year since the annual ass-kicking Halloween party I go to got canceled this year.
But if I'm motivated and find something else cool to do, I'mma take the easy route and go as Professor Xavier.

Next year, though, we're tricking out the chair with gold foil and doing it up as Larry Flynt.

I don't even know here I'm going to be. I think my costume should hinge on that.
