Some people have expressed annoyance with the stickies at the top of threads. I've tried to keep them to a minimum, and I know that it is convenient for certain people to keep certain threads around, but I can understand how they would annoy those who don't participate in them.

I saw no more then 3 sticky's at any one time, and sticky's can only be up for a max of 5 days...., then moved to sticky heaven.

As long as there's not to many of them I can't see what the problem is...

I want the two main stickies - purchases & gigs - to stay where they are.

I think sitckies should only be used for administrative announcements and uber-important polls.

If people are posting like gangbusters in a Gig or purchase thread, it'll stay near the top anyway.

or at least put a blank line between to seperate it?

Tell them to suck it up. Stickies are good for business.

I think that exacerbates the problem. It takes up even more space that way.

What if there was a forum for threads like that? That way they'd still be easy to find, but you wouldn't have to scroll past them to get to the new topics every time you visited the Rock/Pop forum.

i think the stickies just pissed me off because i wasn't really used to it. now, i've matured into an immature man.
