normally i rarely get starstruck... but yesterday i saw a private screening of the u.s. vs. john lennon for work (which btw, was REALLY good - when it comes out, i highly recommend watching it) and my co-worker turns to me and whispers "do you realize that is brian wilson sitting behind us?" 4 rows back. so i turned and looked, and there he was hanging out wearing a hawaiian shirt. then after the movie was over, he was standing right next to me.. so close i could feel his vibe and i completely freaked out and ran out of the room.

i'm such a tard.

p.s. capitol's releasing the limited edition 40th anniversary of pet sounds on aug. 29th.

Jesus! I hope he didn't touch you. You can't wash that off with soap and water ;)

I saw Mya in the Atlanta airport a couple weeks ago.

As in "Lady Marmalade remake with Pink, Lil Kim, and Xtina" Mya.

Most "meh" celebrity sighting I've ever had I think. Nice booty though.

If Brian Wilson goes out in public wearing a hawaiian shirt he wants to be recognized

Further proof that men over the age 40 have a requirement about wearing Hawaiian shirts in public.

I can't believe he was wearing one, as I thought it was part of the act, but your theory makes perfect sense.

Last time I wore a Hawaiian shirt was probably 1981.

I used to wear a Hawaiian shirt almost every day in college.

I have a black Hawaiian with yellow flowers that I used to rock with a pink suede blazer. STYLE.

I think LooG is in my same age neighborhood and Hawaiian shirts did make quite a resurrgence during those years. I still have a couple, but haven't worn them in ages though.
Much prefer Guyabera's Mexican wedding shirts nowadays.
Throw one them bitches on w/ some pinstripe pants = STYLE.

First of all, it's a "Guayabera", you goofballs, and much more fashionably acceptable.

Secondly, if you live on the west coast, you'll note that the 40+ male set wear Hawaiian shirts -- usually accompanied by a bushy 'stache. Girls (ie, me and crew) mock those of the younger set who think they look "stylish" in those shirts. Yes, we will laugh in front of your face. Unless, of course, you're going to some luau or you're attending some Hawaiian themed party at work...then, you're excused.
