no its an annual celebration of watermelon and shit, and... you go to carytown, which is this street with a lot of shops, on a sunday when everything is usually closed. everyone is selling discounted shit, and there are tons of people and vendors and its usually the hottest day of the year, which sucks. but plan 9 puts out boxes of dollar cds and 25 cent records.

it's sweet

This weekend: Ummm what's a weekend?

Seriously though, I'll just be happy to get some sleep, a shower and some food in me at some point. Maybe I'll even read a little.

Otherwise my life is dictated by a tiny person who views me as their 24 hr diner.

I'm just about out of work for the week. I get to sit here for a half hour since I couldn't take a break until just before I leave. I can't wait to get home and shower. Then I have to run and get groceries and booze for the next two nights. I really hope this is the last Capital City Ribfest I have to work. One of my volunteer groups bricked and really fucked us over, but luckily we can bring in temp workers/rent a bums to cover our ass.

If the whole "this-is-actually-a-baby" thing were thrown out the window, I'd say this is my dream life...

as is, as a recap:

Friday: Work late, pass out

Sat: work late, feel like passing out, see Let's Go Sailing & Harvey Danger, pass out..

Sun: Wake up late, BBQ/drinking @ a friend's place, pass out, wake up, eat dinner, get ready to drink & pass out again...

and...scene.
