Just sat down with a few donuts for breakfast. Yeah, yeah donuts are bad.

Anybody else make 'em with cans of biscuits?

Just heat some oil, poke holes in the middle of the biscuits, fry 'em up and dip in sugar.

I just call 'em white trash donuts 'cause some ex girlfriend saw me makin' 'em and asked what the hell kinda white trash concoctions I was cookin'.

I always thought everybody ate these.

The cheap generic biscuits taste best too...you don't need no buttermilk flavor or flakey shit...just cheap blobs of dough.

It's 11:30am and I've not had breakfast yet. Those do sound good, but I'd roll 'em in cinammon sugar.

my grandmother makes fried pies out of canned biscuit dough. She rolls it out. Puts a filling inside ( I liked chocolate and apple best) and deep fried them in oil. Sprinkled powder sugar on top.

Admittedly they're not the rage, but you can get em, usually at middle eastern joints. Yum.

You can find them all over North Louisiana. It's their specialty.

Nice. It must be pancake week or something. I was randomly craving them all last week but never really had time in the morning to make em until today. Strangely, my friend told me she was craving them all week as well. Prolly some "feminine-moon-pancake-thing". heh heh.

Well, I'd say the "just add water" kind are pretty white trash. Although I did add strawberries and mango to them... as well as some real 100% maple syrup.

Mrs. Freshley's are like the worst mini-donut attrocities out there. The chocolate ones are like eating really old, dry cake donuts that have been dipped in brown wax. The powder on the powdered donuts, I'm convinced, is actually a mixture of something like 1 part sugar to 10 parts talcum powder.

Hostess and Entemann's are the only way to go when you have to go pre-made donuts.

6 of them are a meal. 6 more get offered to friends. 6 more go to the black lab. The last 6 are spares in case the first 6 don't take.
