I finally bought (again) the Grateful Dead’s One From the Vault, pretty much the record that got me into the Dead’s live shit and still one of my favorites. The show is from The Great American Music Hall, 8-13-75. The introduction by Bill Graham right into Help is just fucking cool. Enjoy.

Track listing:

DISC 1:
1. Introduction
2. Help On The Way
3. Franklin's Tower
4. The Music Never Stopped
5. It Must Have Been The Roses
6. Eyes Of The World / Drums
7. King Solomon's Marbles: Medley / Stronger Than Dirt (Or, Milkin' The Turkey)
8. Around And Around

DISC 2:
1. Sugaree
2. Big River
3. Crazy Fingers / Drums
4. The Other One
5. Sage And Spirit
6. Goin' Down The Road Feeling Bad
7. U. S. Blues
8. Blues For Allah: Medley / Sand Castles & Glass Camels / Unusual Occurrences In The Desert

Thanks Jail!!

I have some Dick's Picks in my truck that I think I mislabelled, but it starts out shit hot with Casey Jones. It's either #1 or #4, but I also think I mislabelled Discs 1 & 3. Me Dumb.

Sweet, I've actually not heard a single not of GD live music. Seems like a good intro.

Disc II is really good. The Crazy Fingers especially, so far. Altogether, a pretty tight and succinct release.

Volume 4 starts with Casey Jones. One from the Vault is a great recording.
