I'm not really sure how I feel about this, but I am sure that I'd like the next album to be more TOTBL and less Antics.

same here, but since i work for the evils, it's exciting to actually have a band you like sign on.

i'm just really curious how the next album will sound.

me too...please lord let it be more TOTBL than antics!

i must admit to really diggging "not even jail" from antics...think the way it kicks off is just rad.

see, i'm all for more songs from them like "Evil", "Slow Hands", and "C'mere". those are top rate.

as far as the major label deal goes, good for them. i can hardly see them putting out some heavy commercial bullshit, so i think they'll stick to their guns.

I think Turn on the Bright Lights is a better overall album than Antics, but I think the best tracks on Antics are probably musically superior to the best tracks on Turn on the Bright Lights. I am a big fan of "A time to be so small", so I think Antics has a better closing track.
I can't wait for this album, and doubt it will be full of suck.

according to billboard.biz:

Quote:
The group will hit the studio in the fall to begin recording its third album, which is tentatively due in mid-2007. In July, the group wrote on its Web site that it had already spent six months craftering material but had yet to begin recording.

Got burned out on them during the TOTBL period. Didn't even give Antics a look until friend played the album for me...I'd say I enjoy Antics more than TOTBL.
