So, my library rules!
They had this in the stacks and I took it out last night.

I like it.
It is sort of a throwback, in a way; a similar sound to the type of music that I used to play when I was a college DJ in 1991-2. Willfully (and self-consciously) weird.

So, my library rules and I like this.

A nice lady at the record store burned this for me while I was perusing the stacks. I'll have to give it some proper time. I thought that was so cool of her.

Unless you go back and purchase that album, I think that was completely retarded of her.

They didn't have it. It was a used Cd store.

Hmm...where are the naysayers. Seems like when AC is brought up, people flock to bash them here on the board. Sung Tongs is an amazing album. Singlehandly brought me out of musical slump.

Funny, I just listened to this for the first time yesterday. Didn't quite get it...but afterwards I listened to MBV's Loveless for the first time & wasn't impressed with that, either. So maybe it was my mood.

I tried getting into this on many an occasion but just felt bored after the first two tracks, which I love.

So I just ripped those two and sold it.

I'm in a bit of an AC lull at the moment, but they are still one of my favorite bands based on "Sung Tongs" and "Feels", the latter of which is more fully realized, though. Judging by the new material they've been touring, I think their next album is going to be even further off the chain.
