does anyone give a shit about this band? i feel like every three months he's harping about how he's got a new one of theirs in his hands and three people say "eh". is this a band of his friends or something? and do they always spell the band name with all caps, or is that his twatty little touch?

They are from the Boston area, & yeah - the song was on an EP that came out last Fall. The album ( with the same tune on it ) came out 3 months ago.

I mainly dug up the thread so I could let Nothingface know they Japanese tracks were on the site. And to let FT do his thing.

BTW - saw the dude who played Mike Damone on some sitcom rerun the other day while flippin' the channels. I think it was "Will & Grace". I dunno if he was trying to sell them Cheap Trick tix or not.

Their 1st "official" album was my # 3 in 2003. But, I've heard that this band has gone through some line-up changes and teeters on the indie power pop/let's-do-what-our-label-tells-us-to-do line. i think more people (even older fans) need to hear the new stuff before they immediately jump on the bandwagon.

The new album is way more "Big Rock" sounding...nothing "indie" about it at all, aside from the fact that they recorded it in Noelle's apartment on their own dime. Which of course makes them about 1000 times more "indie" than 80% of the bands people discuss on this board. So "indie sounding", no..."indie in spirit" - hell, yes.
