anyone have one? opinion?

i read that it sux pretty badly. the buttons are too sensitive and are always doing things you don't want them to do.

I just need my phone to do 5 things:

Keep my numbers
Call in
Call out
text message
have a good signal


Anything else is useless to me in a phone. I have a camera and an Ipod for music and pictures.


This thing is just for gadget heads.

i have had a razr for about a month and a half now - LOVE IT. no probs thus far.

i finally ditched nextel and their grenade style phones and went with verizon.

The only thing I hate are the side buttons seem to push too easy when in my pocket.

I do dig the music on the Chocolate commercials.

so you like the phone? how do the mp3's work? do you just use headphones? can you upload from itunes?

The RAZR is much better than I expected it to be, and it fits in my front shirt pocket w/o notice. I'd rather have a pebble or a the other real slim non-flip phone they make, but with Verizon, beggers can';t be choosers.

Don't know anything about these... but I already sense it's trouble for me.

My current phone is an LG. I've had it for 1 1/2 years. It takes picutures and I can "surf the innernets". It's also got a text-typepad--i.e. letter buttons. It's pretty cool. LG makes good phones.

I was referring to liking the RAZR.
I've seen 2 commercials for the Chocolate with different music. the one I heard first and like more is a more techno/ NIN sounding intro. Is that the Goldfrapp?

Edit: I did see they had a sample one at Circuit City, but I didn't get to pushing buttons. (those are usually dummy phones) I'd think a Verizon dealer would have a working model you could try. One thing I discovered (at least back when I was in the market for a phone( was that cellphone dealers don't have a CLUE about audio capabilities. The first one that sparked my interest was pretty cool... played MP3 back when that was really a new thing.

Apparently they neglected to add a headphone jack on the phone I was looking at. Sales guy had no clue whatsoever.

This prolly isn't so bad nowadays though.

I can't wait until my 2 year plan is up with Verizon so I can get a new phone. Mine is ok for 5 years ago but I want a Razr or something cooler.

I'll be looking into a new phone pretty soon. It'll be either the Motorola Q with Verizon or the Palm Treo 700p with Sprint.

I have no interest in the Chocolate phone, as said earlier, I already have an iPod. I don't need my phone to hold songs.

I just jumped on the razr bandwagon this week. I didn't like it the first time I saw it. Liked it much more the second. It's pretty spiffy so far.

Ya, my phone is wicked, have a gig chip in it filled with mp3s for when I am riding the T, plays full videos, beautiful screen, smaller than the RAZR, great megapixel camera...

Is it the same model I mentioned? Out of the reviews I've read, I've actually heard more bad things about the Motorola Q than the Treo.

The Helio Hero looks pretty dope but I doubt I'd leave Verizon just for that.
