Yail and The Senator have rolled out a self-described "experimental" episode of The BlooGAR Show, so check it out...

So far so good, boyos. Loogar comes through surprisingly clear. With him calling in, it really sounds like Stern or something now.

Now that Bloor has integrated telephonic technology, I'm gonna have to wield some of my Lummox-in-Chief omnipotence to snag a little airtime.

Too bad it's already been named "The BlooGAR Show," because I now really wish it was called "COKE OR SMOKE???"

So, use your omnipotent status to put down BOTH of the brisket sandwiches you are holding, push back the whole cake you are about to tuck in to, and rename the bugger.

When do I ever HOLD food???

I have decided that I prefer the 70:30 talk-to-music ratio of Episode 2 over the 40:60 of Episode 1. You guys actually do better with more talk, less rock. Not that the tunes aren't good, because they are, but YOU TWO ARE THE COMMODITY!!! Work it!

Yeah, always entertaining. The songs are like commercials and there were some really good choices for this episode. I love that B&S song.

So what's the word here folks? Does this "doing the show over the phone" concept work at all? These are things I need to know.

And I'll post a pic of a beatiful woman to get Dalen moving:

hahaha! sorry for the delay guys, i just listened to it on my ipod this am.

turn up Loog's volume a bit, or turn your volume down Yail, and it's golden. i'm used to listening to podcasts that way (on the phone guests), so the quality is fine with me.

the mixin' it up is my fav part of the show, and the B&S tune was a sweet choice.

topics i'd like covered:

meth addicts in the south
barbecue
hot sauce creation
porn for the married man

good work homies, will be tuned to every episode.

now you know there is NO fucking way thats ever happening. I will remedy the Senator's volume though. I was trying to monitor everything in realtime and it honestly was a pretty horrendous setup.

good topic ideas and we've got a few more we're rolling around as well. I'm not married though and honestly dont watch nearly enough porn anymore so I may have to call you in from the bullpen on that last one. Perhaps when you make an appearance up here next month? Bring samples plzthx :D .

After last night, I think I might have something to add on the subject.

Yeah, one the best parts about this, is what would make us not too great at an actual radio show: we work so much better free form.

But, yeah, BBQ and Dat Meth will be covered -- it's FOOTBALL SEASON!!!

Glory glory hallelujah.

RE: Lucero track.. Ben Nichols sounds like Cooley/Hood's drunk baby boy. Lucero has always been a poor man's version of DBT to me. For that reason I've written them off because why do I need them when the original is still kicking out the jams?

RE: call ins. Check into voice clarity. I can hear Dave, but there's gotta be something you can do on your end to make it clearer. Maybe he can call in on a land line?

I am really hard to hear. If we could level it out, it would be much better.

And we need someone or something to keep us on topic, cos me and Yail get off on some fucking tangents.

And Stu, I have never realized that is what I sound like, but it certainly is. Overemphasis is my specialty.
