All them Obner Mix, boyo.

By the way, I'm so technically-slow-uptake I just figured out it's much easier to right-click on the file icons and select "play in Winamp" than it is to import all the tracks into the player library. And if I select "start of file" option, they play in the right order, even.

Imagine.

I know I've seen his name mentioned around here, but I'd never really looked him up until now. Seems pretty interesting. I really need to give reggae more of a chance.

That Augustus Pablo album is definitely reggae. Anyone who argues otherwise is an Allmusic-humping nerd.

Then what the hell is dub?

Back of the album sleeve:
Quote:
Created by Augustus Pablo, one of the most celebrated dub architects, in association with the creator of dub, King Tubby, this album stands as a reggae classic that has had huge impact on countless musicians of types around the world. It's the ultimate dub album!

Um-hum.

Not that I care one way or the other as far as this argument is concerned, but:

Uh, it's almost as if reggae and dub were synonymous with one another. Or, perhaps, dub is a subset of reggae as a larger category. I dunno.
